Neo-Expressionism
The Neo-Expressionism art time period began in the early 1970's and ended in the late 1990's. Neo-Expressionism is a type of art that expresses imagination and helps to vent human emotion. This type of art also reveals the beginning of some graffiti, aggressive brush strokes, broad splatters of paint, and some emotional pictures. It incorporates cultural and political images into each painting. The artist are often known for "tampering with reality." One of the important artist during this time was Georg Baselitz and his famous piece included "Oberon (Remix)."
